Tornado. O.o

Yesterday, I had my regular Wednesday plans. My piano lesson, go to my aunt's house and teach three piano lessons, and then drive to Decatur for church, then come home. But mother nature spruced up my day. She thought that was too regular :P
I was at my aunt's house giving the first piano lesson, and the tornado sirens started going off. So we looked out the windows and it didn't seem like we were in the storm so we were like, eh, whatever. Then the tornado sirens went off a few more times, so we thought, "hmm. Maybe something's up." so we looked out the windows for a little while, and at that point it had started to rain pretty hard. But I still wasn't worried about it because it wasn't hailing. And then I remembered that I had left the windows open in the car.. >.> So I was going to go outside and shut that, and when I opened the door I realized just how much it was raining... So I borrowed my aunt's jacket and shut the car window. Then on my way back in the house, it started hailing.
By the time I came back inside, the kids were freaking out and going down to the basement, so I followed. We were down there for a while, and the sirens continued to go off for some time. But the tornado never found us. So after we noticed the sirens hadn't gone off in a while, we went upstairs to check it out. We saw that the clouds were no longer an ominous green color, and it was back to regular grey. But it was still pouring. And then I looked over at my car parked outside, and saw that the passenger and back-passenger windows were still open. T_T that poor car.
So, after all that nonsense, I finished the other two piano lessons, and skipped away to church. It was raining pretty hard during a small portion of that drive. I made it there alive though :)
And church was church. So that was fun. Then I got to drop by and see my homegirl, miss Allie. ;p Then home! So it was a partially interesting day. Just a small portion, I guess.
I also turned in an application to Bob Evans. Mmm... Blek. Oh well. $$$. And I have an interview at Debrand's tomorrow! :D Yessssss.

PS. I went to the library yesterday because I felt like picking a book to read. I never found anything super interesting, but I did see one that I decided to get. It's called The Temptress. And it's not about anything nasty.. It's a biography about some woman back in the early 1900s who they think may have murdered some guy, but nobody actually knows. So I like the '20s and the people of that era, and that is when most of the book is based so I decided to read it. It's interesting so far. O.o
