Haha -

Lexy and I are both seventeen, so we haven't had our licenses for like, ages or anything. But we're both good drivers. But for some reason, whenever Lexy comes over to my house, vehicles are not our friends. O.o

One time last summer, Lexy and I drove to my Grandma's house to get.. Something. I don't remember what it was. But, that's not a really important detail.
ANYWAY: So I was the one driving, and we have to cross a high-way in order to get there. I was driving along, stopped at the stop sign and everything, and I thought it was clear, so I started moving! But, lo'! Turns out there was a grey car (which I swear was not there one second earlier...) coming towards us at approximately 65 mph. My first reaction was to stop. Then I realized, "well, that's pretty stupid." So I gunned it reeeeally hard. And we didn't die! And Lexy was sworn to secrecy on that one :P

Then, ummm.. like, in the fall 2010, I think it was? Lexy and I decided we couldn't eat at my house and that we had to drive to Van Wert to get something to eat. Which, in order to get there, you have to drive through my itty bitty village of Convoy. Lexy is used to her BIG city, apparently, so she didn't realize that when there is a car parked alongside a very small, divided, two-lane road - and there is a car coming from the opposite direction - you should slow down in order not to hit the parked car. Therefore, since she was unaware of this fact, she did not slow, then
KA-BLAM.
We hit the side-mirror of the parked vehicle.

We stopped, knocked on the guy's door and no one answered, so she was going to write a note and stick it under the windshield wiper, blah-blah-blah. Then he pulled into the driveway in another vehicle and we assumed it was his car that we hit. So we got out and talked to him and stuff. He had a Christian-radio sticker on the back of his truck, so we were hoping he was going to be nice :P He was pretty nice, but his wife was meeeeeeaaaaaaan. =(

Anywhoo,
So they called the Convoy police officer, and since she had nothing better to do, she stood there and talked to us for a while and stuff. And in the end, Lexy didn't get in trouble because she said that Lexy had good character to stop, because most people would keep going. :P

So then TODAY, Lexy and I planned to go to the mall. Lexy was driiiiiving down the road, I wasn't paying attention to the road at all because I was messing with the radio. And then we hit some snow on the side of the road and slid OFF, into a tiny little ditch between the road and someone's field.
Of course.

Lexy said, "Something bad ALWAYS happens when I'm driving with you!!!"
It is not my fault. Not one tiny bit! Well, the first one where I almost got us killed by the grey car was my fault, but that is besides the point.

So, since I live in a super tiny village and everyone is friendly to those in need, the very first person to drive past us happened to drive a truck (shocking, since everyone drives trucks in my hick town) and he helped us out. Which actually took pretty long. I bet we tried to get it for about half an hour. I guess that isn't SO long, but it felt like a long time when I was anticipating the mall.

But that was the only eventful action of the day. No more car incidents. Yay!

But I didn't buy anything at the mall, which is such a foreign concept O.O
