Super Bowl;

So, it's that football season again, eh? I'm not into sports at all, leastwise football. I think it's boring and it takes FOREVER. But, the Super Bowl isn't all bad. Sometimes I like to watch it for the half-time show or the commercials. Although I would never watch it by myself for those reasons alone. I only tune in when I'm with a bigger group of people, because then I have entertainment for all the boring sports crap. But anyways - the commercials are usually hilarious, however, with the half-time show, it's a hit or miss. Like I remember last year, Hall and Oates played at half-time, and they sucked. They're a bunch of old dudes now! Nobody wants to see them try to rock out on stage! Bleh. That was horrible.

I usually don't know when the Super Bowl is. No one in my family is into it either (thank GOD.) Actually, a lot of times we just happen to be at someone's house who is watching it, and we're like, "Oh. The Super Bowl. Huh." But this year, I actually knew in advance. I found out last week because a friend of mine was talking about it. I never planned planned to go to a Super Bowl party though. Until... TODAY! *Dun dun dunnnnnnnn*

I just got a text from a friend saying, "Hey! Are you going to the Super Bowl party at church tonight?" Ummmm, excuse me, NO ONE MENTIONED IT TO ME BEFORE NOW! I absolutely despise that. It happens to me frequently. I usually get the response, "Well I assumed so-and-so told you!" I would rather hear it from everyone than not hear about it at all! BUT I digress - She texted me and asked about that, and then I thought, 'Well that would probably be fun, I suppose I'll try to go.' Still waiting on word from my mom if I'll be able to borrow the car for the evening, but I kind of hope she says yes, because I like hanging out with my church friends and I don't HAVE to pay attention to the game even a little bit! It'll probly be kinda fun, if I get to go. Which, I probably won't since I just got word from my mom. Yep, I feel a big "No" coming on.

Anyways, the Super Bowl is alright, but I don't get into it like most people do. There are some craaazy fans out there, and really, I get annoyed with the people that paint themselves their favored team's colors, and yell at the tv, bleh. There are so many other things I would rather do with my time than be interested, even slightly, in a game of football.
