New dress, new favorite store, terrible movie, great day.

OVERVIEW:
Yesterday Julia, Becca, and I went up to Fort Wayne. We went to the mall first, then to Olive Garden for soup salad and breadsticks, then to the dollar theater to watch Gnomeo and Juliet (which Julia wanted to see...). Then we dropped Becca off at home, and Julia and I went to McDonald's to see Mom (who was working), and then we came on home.

Chapter one: the car ride
A saga of its own.
So Julia and I left our house and went to Decatur to get Becca. Julia rode in the front seat with me on the way to Decatur, but then when we got Becca I told Julia she'd have to move to the back seat, which she did. And then the following ensued:
Julia: AH!!! CAITLIN!!! THERE'S BUGS BACK HERE!!!
Me: What? What are you talking about? Hold on, we are almost to a stop sign. Just sit there for just a second and then I will stop the car.
*we reach the stop sign*
Me: Okay, Julia, you can get up now. What's the problem?
*Becca and I both turn around and look at the back seat*
Julia: LOOK!! BUGS!!! HUNDREDS OF THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Becca: Those just look like crumbs to me...
Julia: They're MOVING.
Becca and I: ......
Julia: LOOK! There's one that's moving right there!!!!
*I look at the moving thing*
Me: Ohhhhhhhh................. maggots.........
... Yeahhhhh. Disgusting. My mom's old car, which I have been driving, is apparently infested with maggots. Looooots of them. I'll have to vacuum those out later... Probably today.

Chapter two: The mall.
New dress, new favorite store.
We walked around the mall for a while. First we went to Glitter (the dollar jewelry store) for Julia, and she found a few things that she liked and bought. Then we walked around a bit, and came to.... *heavenly music* ... This store:

The outside.

The inside.

Francesca's
Oh how I now love thee.

This store is beautiful. Basically everything in it reminds me of something Zooey Dechanel would wear, and that is ALWAYS a good thing.

Anyways, this store is so cute. I've never seen nor heard of it before, but I have sincerely been missing out.
But what's REALLY great about this store is their dress collection.

I bought a dress from there.... I know I shouldn't have.
Bad, Caitlin. BAD.
But I could not help it. I'm what you might call, a bad shopper. One who cannot go to the mall without buying something. Which, if you look on it in just the right light, is a good thing! But if you look at it in the light of even a HINT of practicality, is a bad thing. =(

Alas, I fell in love with this store. So I was just trying things on at random, just to see if I liked the look and feel of the clothes as much as I liked the look of the store...
Turns out, I did. And it was a bad idea to try anything on, because then I just wanted it all. I did end up getting an aqua blue-ish/green-ey sun dress that is super cute and very comfortable (always a plus). And here it is:

The top is my favorite part ^_^

I love this dress. The material is soft and breathable, and the dress has elastic going around it in just the right place to give it a slimming look. I can't wait to wear it :)

Chapter three: Olive Garden.
Becca: Do people ever just not say stop when you're putting cheese on their food?
Waitress: Oh yeah. *All* the time.
Not really much to say here, other than we went in and all three ordered soup, salad, and breadsticks with water. And it was delicious. Also, Becca paid for her meal with a lot of change, and also tried to jip them a whole dollar, which the waitress had to come back and ask for. :P

Chapter four: the movie.
Romeo, Romeo, where for art thou, Romeo?
Sooooo.... Yeah... Gnomeo and Juliet....... Good thing we saw it at the Dollar Theater where it only cost $3 per ticket :p. We got there about 50 minutes early for the showing... So we sat in the theater and talked for a while. Julia played her DS during that time, and Becca and I just talked. That time ticked by pretty slowly. And then, it started! And. Yeah. That was quite honestly, just as bad as it looked in the previews. There were like 5 parts which I found humorous, but aside from that, it was really quite awful. But Julia liked it, and that's the important thing.

Chapter five: the journey back to Decatur to drop Becca off and go visit Mom at work.
We sat at McDonald's waiting for mom to come out and sit with us for a long time. A long, long time. Julia and I entertained ourselves by throwing her Happy Meal toy back and forth. It's a good thing we're both easily entertained. But then we finally saw Mom, and we talked to her for a little bit and told her of the events of the day.

After that, it was time to go home, where I tried on my dress a few more times, hung it up all nicely on the hanger, and went to bed. ^_^
