So about a week ago I discovered this website called Pinterest. I thought I'd try it out, because it looked interesting. And I waited to post something about it until I had decided what my opinion was. And the verdict is: I love it.
The idea of pinterest is you make separate "boards" and you put (or, pin) pictures that pertain to the topic of that board. You can make a board of anything you want. I've seen some with just pictures of umbrellas (which I love) and some with just pictures of sunglasses, etc. It's a lot of fun. And you can repin other people's pins, or you can get pins from all across the web.
It has an interesting way of allowing you to make a profile, though. Instead of having a simple link that says, "Get pinning!" or something like that, you have to be invited to the website. O.o It took a couple days for me, but for a friend it took less than 24 hours. So maybe it just depends on how busy they are or something. Then once they allow you to create a profile, you can do whatever you want. I like it a lot. I believe it is my new internet obsession :P
